Located in the nearby Phoenix metro area, the Phoenix Zoo is home to more than 1,200 animals. Visitors enjoy a diverse array of animal exhibits, outdoor recreational activities, special events and educational programs for all ages. Recently added exhibits include Monkey Village, Wallaby Walkabout, Enchanted Forest and Danger or Deception. The Phoenix Zoo is open daily except for Christmas Day.
