ORLANDO, Fla., August 2, 2017 – Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa is pleased to announce several new upgrades and renovations over the past year that will further enhance the guest experience at the centrally located Orlando resort.
For example, one of the newest restaurants at Westgate Lakes, Drafts Sports Bar & Grill has recently added an outdoor deck and fire pits, as well as outdoor and indoor bar seating. Drafts, which brings together the popular concepts of brew pubs and gourmet burger bars, features high-definition flat-screen TVs, a state-of-the-art game room and mini bowling alley. It is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The onsite Marketplace & Deli at Westgate Lakes is now home to Sid’s Deli, Cordovano Joe’s Pizza and a new beer and wine cave. Sid’s Deli serves made-to-order sandwiches, subs and salads, as well as fresh deli meats and cheeses, while Cordovano Joe’s offers New York-style pizza cooked to order.
In addition, Westgate Lakes has expanded its meeting offerings with the opening of 20,000 square feet of new meeting and banquet space. Westgate Lakes also has added its own private island, Sunset Key Island, which provides the perfect backdrop for group events such as reunions, weddings, receptions and birthday parties.
