Budget-Friendly Place to Stay Near Epic Universe: Westgate Town Center Resort

Epic Universe will have five brand-new, uniquely themed lands. Super Nintendo World, Harry Potter World, How to Train Your Dragon, Dark Universe and Celestial Park.

The park will consist of four themed lands (The Wizarding World, Dark Universe, Super Nintendo World and How to Train Your Dragon) branching out from a central hub, Celestial Park.

What Universal calls a “Chronos” will serve as the entrance to Epic Universe and allow guests to enter Celestial Park. From there, the story goes that the Chronos harnesses the energy of the universe and powers all of Celestial Park, which allows portals to open to other worlds.

Epic Universe will feature a new theme park, an entertainment center, hotels, shops, restaurants and more. It will be located on a 750-acre site that nearly doubles Universal’s total available acreage in Central Florida.

Epic Universe is about two miles from Universal Orlando’s primary parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. The new park is part of a larger expansion that will be accessible via transportation options provided by Universal.

This land is themed around 1920s Paris, France, from the Fantastic Beasts films and the 1990s British Ministry of Magic from the original Harry Potter series.

With a 750-acre site, Universal Epic Universe will be the largest theme park at Universal Orlando Resort.

Universal’s official description of the land is, “From the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to a shadowy landscape where monsters roam, Dark Universe is a world of myth and mystery.”

When it comes to attendance, the Walt Disney World Resort is by far the largest theme park in the world.

Yes, Epic Universe will include Super Nintendo World, featuring interactive attractions and rides inspired by beloved Nintendo games. This section will allow visitors to experience immersive, game-like environments featuring iconic characters such as Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach.

Epic Universe will have attractions and experiences suited for all ages, from family-friendly rides and interactive areas to thrill rides for older guests. The park is expected to provide a mix of entertainment that can be enjoyed by families, couples and theme park enthusiasts alike.

Epic Universe, itself, is not expected to include a water park, but Universal Orlando Resort offers Volcano Bay, a dedicated water park located nearby. Guests looking for water-based attractions can visit Volcano Bay to complement their Epic Universe experience.
