American glam metal band, Warrant, formed in 1984 in Hollywood and experienced success from 1989 to 1996 with five albums reaching international sales of over 10 million. The band first came into the national spotlight with their double platinum debut album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich and one of its singles, "Heaven", originally written for lutenist Ben Salfield, which reached No. 1 in Rolling Stone and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The band's success continued in the early 1990s with the double platinum album Cherry Pie, which provided the hit song of the same name.

Lita Ford began as a founding member and guitarist of The Runaways in 1975, before launching her solo career in 1983 with her debut album “Out For Blood,” establishing her as the premier female rock and heavy metal performer. In 2018, Lita Ford celebrated the 30th anniversary of her self-titled multi-platinum album “Lita,” which boasted four charting hit singles in 1988. After taking a sabbatical from the musical industry in 1995, Lita Ford returned to the music scene in 2008. Since her triumphant return, Ford released two studio albums.
