Pet Policy: The following Pet Policy is for Wild Bear Inn

Up to two (2) dogs are allowed per villa, no cats. Pet must not exceed 60 pounds, or in the case of multiple pets, they must not exceed 60 pounds combined. The following breeds are not allowed on property: Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Doberman Pinschers, Chow Chow and Presa Canario.

A $75.00 pet deposit is required at the time of check in. If there is no damage upon check out, the deposit will be returned. All guests should notify the Front Desk or dial 0 when they plan to be out of the room with their pet so Housekeeping may schedule a cleaning service. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $40.00 will be charged upon check in. While the pet is in the villa it is expected to be supervised or crated at all times. At the time when Housekeeping services are provided, the housekeepers will not service the villa if the pet is left unattended. It is the guest’s responsibility to confirm with the hotel Front Desk staff as to the locations outside of the guest’s villa where the pet is permitted. When the pet is out of the villa and on property, it is expected that the pet will be on a leash and under the control of the handler. It is expected that the handler will pick up and properly dispose of any pet deposits. In the event the pet soils or stains fabric, additional charges may be assessed accordingly. The pet must not be permitted to disturb other guests. The pet is not allowed in the restaurant or at the pool. All linens are removed from the villa, including bedspreads and mattress pads, for proper washing. All linens will be washed and dried at an offsite laundry facility to ensure proper hygiene. The villa will be deep cleaned; using Westgate Resorts authorized cleaning products, which includes all furniture, glass, tables, ceiling vents, etc., so as to ensure a clean and safe villa. Floors will be cleaned using a neutral cleaner to eliminate odors and bacteria, followed by a deodorizer to ensure freshness and elimination of pet hairs.

After the Front Desk agent reviews the pet policy form with the guests at check in, both agent and guests must sign it. A copy of the signed form will be provided to the guest upon request.
