2 | Desert Pines Golf Club |
Often described as a taste of the Carolinas, this Dye-designed course, located only 15 minutes from the Strip, offers a perfect escape from the rush of the city. Desert Pines is adorned with thousands of pine trees, white sand bunkers, and water hazards that appear on half of its 18 holes.
Standout holes include the Double Down and Gauntlet, with lakes and bunkers that will keep even the most seasoned golfers on their toes. These pale compared to the course’s most challenging hole, Tunnel Vision, where the fairway narrows to just seven yards between pine trees, requiring your best precision to hit the hole.

3 | Las Vegas Golf Club |
Las Vegas Golf Club offers the perfect combination of history, challenge, and affordability. Established in 1938, this municipal course is the oldest in the Las Vegas Valley and has been a local favorite for generations. While it’s not as flashy as some of the newer courses in Las Vegas, this golf course has its charm.
Las Vegas Golf Club course is relatively short, spanning 6,339 yards from the back tees, with wide-open fairways that make it a perfect spot for a wide range of players. Don't let the length of the course fool you because it has several tricky holes to navigate, with solitary pine trees scattered throughout its length.

4 | Las Vegas National Golf Club |
Also known as the old Sahara Golf Club, Las Vegas National Golf Club has been a part of Las Vegas golf history since 1961. This course has had a fair share of glory, hosting several PGA and LPGA tour stops, including Tiger Woods’ first PGA Tour victory in 1996.
The course spans a little over 6,700 yards, with a par-71 layout that’s sure to keep you on your toes. The first hole sets the tone with a 533-yard par-5 uphill with out-of-bounds areas on both sides. Each of the following holes has its unique challenges, ranging from streams and bunkers to doglegs and elevated greens.

5 | Angel Park Golf Club—Mountain |
Designed by Arnold Palmer, The Angel Park Mountain Course combines challenging gameplay with stunning views of raw natural beauty. This course plays up and down a mountain, overlooking Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Strip. Stretching over 6,700 yards from the back tees, the Mountain course is slightly longer and more challenging than its sibling, the Palm course.
With a mix of long par-3s and easily reachable par-5s, the course provides plenty of variety. The greens are fast and have a considerable elevation from back to front, so you better aim short of the hole if you want to win. This type of terrain is ideal for higher-handicap players who prefer a bit of a challenge.

6 | Angel Park Golf Club—Palm |
While not very long with its 6,500 yards, the Palm Course at Angel Park is packed with challenges that favor precision over sheer power. The front nine features three par-3s, each with different challenges, including the tricky eight hole where you have to carry a large pond to reach a narrow green. Luckily, the flat ground surrounding the green makes it a lot easier to chip the ball if you miss the green.
With large landing areas and fast greens, most players will find the Angel Park Palm Course engaging. The course is well-maintained and known for its friendly and welcoming staff always ready to help out and meet your every demand.

The greens are made of perfectly cut bentgrass, lightning quick and with subtle breaks that can catch even professional tour players by surprise. With six sets of tees, the TPC course is perfect for everyone who enjoys a good game of golf.

The main highlight of the course is its par-3 16th hole, which plays 229 yards to a lofty green guarded by bunkers and a quick drop-off. The finishing hole is a slight dogleg right with water and out-of-bounds areas, requiring perfect control and precision.
