Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources For Residents Of Nevada

During this challenging time, Westgate Resorts has gathered together a collection of resources specifically for the residents of the State of Nevada. Just like many of you, we are closely monitoring new developments regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in this state, and we are actively meeting the challenge by providing donations, information, and resources to our local community. When filing for Nevada unemployment benefits you will be required to list the employer’s name which is located on your pay statement or is listed on your 2019 W-2. Unemployment Insurance Information

Unemployment benefits may be available to individuals who are no longer working on or whose hours have been significantly reduced.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act)
The CARES Act signed into law by President Trump on March 27, 2020, gives states the option of extending unemployment compensation to independent contractors and other workers who are ordinarily ineligible for unemployment benefits.
