Fun Fact: Eglin Air Force Base has been in operation since 1935 and is Florida's most extensive military base. Eglin has a range of U.S. military departments, with weapons systems, a test wing for crewless aircraft, fighters, bombers, and associated weapons systems. There’s also a special forces group based in Eglin that provides support to the Latin American region. It also has an attachment that evaluates air-launched weapons, navigation systems, guidance, and tests Air Force Special Operations Command systems.
