Michael Marder Outside General Counsel
Michael Marder is Westgate’s Outside General Counsel. As Outside General Counsel, Michael is responsible for overseeing Westgate’s legal department including but not limited to commercial litigation, real estate law, timeshare & resort law and business & corporate law. Michael has extensive experience with complex financial transactions and is the Managing Partner of Greenspoon Marder, an AMLaw 200 law firm.
Michael sits on the Board of Directors of the Westgate Foundation and on the Advisory Committee of the Victoria’s Voice Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Directors and a Trustee of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA). Michael is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Orange County Bar Association and a member of the Florida Bar and the Bar of the United States Supreme Court.
Michael received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and his law degree from Stetson University College of Law.
