Four Westgate Resorts Properties Achieve Exclusive 2020 AAA “Best of Housekeeping” Designation

ORLANDO, Fla., April 2020 – Westgate Resorts is pleased to announce that four of its resorts – Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa, Westgate Palace Resort, Westgate Towers Resort and Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort – have been designated as American Automobile Association (AAA) “Best of Housekeeping” resort properties for 2020, placing them in the top 25 percent of all 27,000 AAA inspected and approved hotels.
According to AAA, the “Best of Housekeeping” designation is exclusively awarded to resort and hotel properties that “significantly surpass expectations, as measured during a comprehensive, on-site inspection.” In order to meet the stringent criteria for the award, these properties must demonstrate housekeeping excellence by receiving the highest possible cleanliness and condition scores for two consecutive inspections, as well as be entirely free of AAA member complaints. The “Best of Housekeeping” designation qualifies these resorts to display the AAA “Best of Housekeeping” badge for use in all channels free of charge through the end of September 2020.
