ORLANDO, Fla. (July 16, 2026) — The International Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce proudly presented the 2026 Harris Rosen Philanthropic Award to Westgate Resorts and the Westgate Foundation during the Chamber's Heart of I-Drive Luncheon held July 8.
Established in 2017, the Harris Rosen Philanthropic Award is presented annually to a business or individual who exemplifies exceptional philanthropic leadership and demonstrates a commitment to making the community and the world a better place.
The Chamber selected Westgate Resorts and the Westgate Foundation in recognition of their longstanding commitment to community impact, charitable giving, military support, workforce development and volunteerism throughout Central Florida and beyond. Over the past five years, the Westgate Foundation has contributed more than $6 million to initiatives focused on workforce development, housing, military support and community advancement, while Westgate Team Members have contributed thousands of volunteer hours supporting nonprofit organizations and local causes.
The Chamber also recognized Westgate's signature Military Weekend program, which since 2013 has provided nearly 30,000 complimentary vacations to military families as an expression of gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
Jared Saft, chief operating officer of Westgate Resorts and a board member of the Westgate Foundation, accepted the award on behalf of the organization.
“This recognition is especially meaningful because it carries the name of Harris Rosen, whose legacy of leadership and community impact helped shape Central Florida and inspired so many of us in hospitality,” said Saft. “At Westgate, we have always believed that business success comes with a responsibility to serve others.
