2 | Cortona Italian Café | Cortona Italian Café is off the beaten path a few minutes outside of town in a Kimball Junction strip mall. This is the go-to place for authentic Italian cuisine, including fresh-made pasta daily and wickedly delicious gelato. Signature entrees include Lasagna, Veal Marsala, Chicken Piccata and Chicken Parmesan. For starters, don’t miss the opportunity to sample Nona’s (Grandma’s) Meatball. Cortona also offers a nice selection of both red and white wines. By the way, the beautiful town of Cortona in the province of Arezzo in Tuscany served as inspiration for this cozy and rustic Italian eatery. 5 | Twisted Fern | Twisted Fern is a chef-owned restaurant offering such mouth-watering specialties as blackened octopus, chicken-fried portobello, cavatelli pasta, jackfruit paprikash and bone-in short ribs. The popular Park City eatery infuses “a twist of creativity in a New American atmosphere,” according to the official website. A nice selection of specialty cocktails, beer and wine is also available at Twisted Fern, which is open for lunch Wednesday through Sunday and dinner nightly. 6 | Boneyard Saloon & Wine Dive | Boneyard Saloon & Wine Dive is located in an old lumberyard just north of downtown and features 16 wines on tap, as well as 100 draft and bottled beers. In addition to fabulous artisan pizza from a wood-fired oven, it also serves up savory comfort food like southern fried chicken, steaks, ribs, sandwiches, burgers and fries. Rooftop patio dining is available with live music on the weekends. The Boneyard Saloon & Wine Dive is open daily from 11 AM to 1 AM. 7 | Silver Star Café | Located at the base of Park City Mountain Resort’s Silver Star chairlift, Silver Star Café is just the place for lunch or while waiting out a lift wind delay. Serving such things as from-scratch burgers, fresh salads and a tender French dip sandwich, this rustic café also makes a fine low-key dinner alternative when you want to get away from the Main Street bustle. Beer, wine and craft cocktails are available. In addition, Silver Star Café hosts Park City Limits, an acoustic music dinner show every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night that features talented local and national touring singer-songwriters. 8 | Firewood Restaurant | Chef John Murko’s Firewood Restaurant is a relatively new restaurant (2016) that has garnered rave reviews right from the beginning. Billed as “a fiery culinary experience to savor,” Firewood Restaurant is ideally located in the heart of Park City’s Historical Main Street. You can watch your food, anything from lamb loin to Arctic char, being cooked on the huge wood-fire grill that you can see through the antique windows that separate the kitchen from the dining room. And after your delicious meal, top things off with a nightcap in Nickel Bar, the downstairs cocktail den. The Firewood Restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday at 5:30 PM.

9 | Tupelo | Executive chef-owner Matt Harris’s bi-level Tupelo restaurant and bar offers New American cuisine like Beef and Barley, whiskey-glazed Niman Ranch pork belly and barbecued octopus with red bean stew, red pepper vinegar, kale and pickled lemon. And his Maine crab fritters are to die for. Expect globally inspired, artisan sourced ingredients and wines from around the world at Tupelo, which is located on Historic Main Street in downtown Park City. 10 | High West Distillery | If you’re feeling like a short drive, head 21 miles down to the quaint mountain town of Wanship and the award-winning High West Distillery, an internationally recognized brand and Utah’s first legal distillery since 1870. In fact, the distillery was named 2016 “Distiller of the Year” by Whisky Advocate magazine and also appeared on Esquire magazine’s 2019 list of the “Best Whiskey Distilleries in America.” Noted for its high-quality whiskeys and classic American pub food, this establishment boasts an almost cult-like following. Distillery tours and tastings are offered four times a day Wednesday through Sunday (be sure to reserve a spot in advance online). The original distillery location, High West Saloon, is known as the “world’s first ski-in gastro pub” and can be found at 703 Park Avenue in downtown Park City.
