8 Top Steakhouses in Orlando for Your Best Night Out!

Orlando is known as the “Happiest Place on Earth” – and for foodies, it has nothing to do with the dozen theme parks that call the city home. Acclaimed as one of the top fine-dining destinations in Florida, gourmands relish the ever-diverse restaurant scene that includes some of the biggest names in gastronomy – from celebrity chefs to local legends – food trucks to trendy food halls, and everything in between.

Whether celebrating a milestone, or simply indulging in a hearty, treat-yourself meal, a steakhouse is a solid choice for an extra special night out in Orlando.

From a swanky chophouse in a sophisticated Orlando hotel to an old-school local’s joint or hole in the wall gem among the most popular International Drive restaurants, we’ve gathered a few of our favorite steakhouses in Orlando for you to consider booking for your best night out while in town. Bon Appétit!

1 | Shula’s Steakhouse | Located at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, this acclaimed steakhouse celebrates the 1972 Miami Dolphins' "Perfect Season" – the only undefeated team in NFL history – under Coach Don Shula, with photos and memorabilia decorating the elegant space. In order to be the best on the field, Don Shula’s strategy was to select the best talent available and give them the resources they needed to succeed – principles which led to his success as the most winningest coach in the history of football. When he ventured into the restaurant business, those same principles were applied, which meant serving the best quality beef and providing the restaurant team with the best training. As a result, the steakhouse has won numerous awards, including the esteemed The Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence. The custom center cuts of Premium Black Angus Beef steaks and custom aging process are second to none, and make the Shula Cut known as the best beef money can buy. Valet is complimentary and reservations are recommended.
